We started the development of the sensor device in November 2013. The sensor was ready in September 2014, just 1 week before the first XPrize testing phase started.
At some critical point in summer 2014, Torsten, a member of the OTA, made a bet:
“If we gonna survive phase 2, I will jump in to a lake in the Austrian Alps in winter!”
The Team made it and Torsten was true to his words in April 2015….
